Foster Child Program (PAA): Serving the Lord for a Lifetime
Have you ever felt tired or bored in serving the Lord? Have you ever felt unappreciated or unnoticed in your ministry? Or have you ever thought about quitting or retiring from ministry? Many Christians feel that their ministry has no results or impact. They feel there is no enthusiasm or joy in serving the Lord. They even feel that their ministry has no meaning and purpose in their lives. Is that what the Lord wants from our lives? Certainly not. The Lord desires us to serve Him throughout our lives. The Lord desires us to serve Him faithfully, diligently, and fruitfully. The Lord desires us to serve Him with love, compassion, and sacrifice.

One of the testimonies from Mr. Sungkono states that the Kalpataru Gate Foundation for Prosperous Humanity (GKIS) in the field of Education, commonly known as the Foster Child Program (PAA) and Teacher Foster Program (PGA), has been serving for approximately 30 years. Certainly, the service did not go smoothly as expected, but it has endured many ups and downs. The service has experienced periods of hiatus, suddenly the main sponsor stopped providing assistance. Not only that, major churches that usually assist in the service also discontinued their support. There were times when the servants felt exhausted and felt that the service was enough. Some people who were originally supportive also felt it was enough and switched to other places.
